Concerts…

man, I have been going to concerts for most of my life. I believe I was around 11 years old at my first one. We were sitting on the floor (my sister fell off the folding chair haha) but we still had a good view, especially with the screens. All of the concerts I have been to have been Christian concerts, except my most recent one. That one was Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour. My twin sister and I wore almost matching outfits (our shirts had different sayings on them). We got there a little early and started to trade friendship bracelets, take pictures, and we even got to be on the news. Once inside the venue, we waited in line to get merchandise. My friend FaceTimed me then. She got to go when the show was in Pittsburgh just 2 months earlier. While talking with her, my sister saw a familiar shift on a girl walking past us. I was able to stop her and tell her that her shirt was drawn by my friend who just happened to be on FaceTime with me at that very moment. It’s such a sweet memory now. And I continued to FaceTime that friend during certain parts of the show, like during the surprise songs. I am glad that I was FaceTiming her as we got one of her favorite songs that night. I’ll never forget her writing something on her iPad and turning it around so I could see. She had written “I hate you in a good way” I laughed so hard at that. So even though my friend couldn’t hear it in person with me, I’m glad I was on FaceTime with her during it, especially with what has happened since that concert.
