FaceTime….

        FaceTime is such a valuable thing now. I never understood how fun it could be when I first had a phone. It allows you to talk in real time on the phone but with the added bonus of being able to see the person you are talking to. My friend and I used it all the time to show each other things instead of sending a bunch of pictures back and forth. One time, we basically FaceTimed for 12 hours. We were both home that day, and she worked on projects while I worked on homework, and then we just did some random things together, and watched a movie. And we even read a book together. It was basically just like a giant phone call at one point as we just set down our phones and kept talking to each other even though our cameras were pointed at our ceilings. We did not plan that but it was fun. FaceTime is such a great way to hang out with a friend that you can’t be in person with. You just carry them around via your phone and they can move rooms with you. It’s also nice because it’s just like being in each others company, your just separated by glass and miles and miles. Lots of times that we would FaceTime, we would have moments where we would just sit and be in each other’s company like we would in person, before we started to talk or start another activity. My friend is probably the only person I can do that with and not feel awkward.
